Why You Never Achieve Your Goals
Is your goal the big house, the new car, the designer wardrobe, the Pinterest-perfect home decor? But is your reality the cluttered apartment, broken car, and empty bank? Maybe that’s why you never achieve your goals. Not because they aren’t realistic, but because they’re just daydreams… for now.
While there’s nothing wrong with those goals, or any goals that you might have, until you take steps in the right direction, they’re still nothing more than daydreams.
But it’s possible to make them into goals! Â Here’s why you never achieve your goals.
1. You don’t know the difference between your goals and your daydreams.
I didn’t know the difference either until recently! The difference between a goal and a daydream is you and the steps you take.
If you want your dream house but have never saved up money, looked into how much you’ll need to save for the down payment, know how much you can afford to pay in mortgage, or even know if you want to stay in the same area where you currently live, you’re looking at a daydream.
But if you’ve taken the steps to know what you can afford, what is realistic, and then the steps that you need to take to get into that house, now that’s a goal!
2. You get overwhelmed quickly and quit.
Let’s say you do know all of the steps you need to take in order to make your goal into a daydream. But the second that you see all of the steps lined up, you quit trying.
You might still want whatever it is that made you quit your goal, but it’s a daydream again.
3. You don’t have support.
No matter what your goal is, the support of friends, family, co-workers, and even kids can be the make-or-break factors in reaching a goal. Without a support system in place, you’re setting yourself up for failure.
You might even have people working against you and your goals. Maybe because they don’t understand your goal or just that you’re looking for support in the wrong places.
4. You don’t have guidance.
You wouldn’t decide to take up sushi making without having a teacher. The same can be said for goal setting!
Having guidance from a pro can help you stay on track and make sure that you’re always focusing on the right tasks. A goal setting guide can help you see the difference between a daydream and a real, tangible goal.
Great! You know why you never achieve your goals… well, now what?
True story, I’m the worst at goal completion. I set these lofty goals that I just drag my feet forever to complete.
That’s why I’m so excited to share with you a class that made all the difference in my goal setting. It’s called Make Over Your Year, and it’s exactly what you need to go from a daydream to a goal.Â
The course isn’t by some lofty millionaire telling you about how their goals were to buy another private jet. Oh, no.
This is a course from a regular husband and wife who just so happen to be the owners of one of the biggest websites in the world. Check out the course here.
Crystal Paine, of Money Saving Mom, and her husband Jesse are your teachers and guides in this class. They will help you learn how to set goals that work for you.
Make Over Your Year is an interactive course of videos, worksheets, and homework that you can easily finish and actually use. But this isn’t your standard course.
You won’t find that you need to buy another class in order to get the best lessons. I love this course because of how real it is. Crystal and Jesse share their real lives and struggles with you and you get to see another couple that doesn’t always see eye-to-eye but still manages to make their goals into a reality.
Get the course here for an unbelievably low price!
What if I need more help?
If you still need more help, Crystal has 2 more classes that revolutionized my days (not an exaggeration, either).
Make Over Your Mornings and Make Over Your Evenings helped me whip my days into shape. I found the motivation that I needed to take control of my mornings and evenings.
No more rushing around in the morning because nothing was planned out from the night before. And no more lazily starting my day and then rushing around wondering where the morning went because I was so disorganized.
If you’ve ever wondered why you never achieve your goals, you’re not alone!
That’s why it’s so important to change something in the way you work toward your goals. If you’re ready to make this your best year ever, Make Over Your Year is going to make this the year that you do keep your New Year’s Resolution!
What is a goal that you always struggle with?
