I watched Food, Inc. in college and I didn’t eat for three days. Not because I was protesting for PETA, but because after learning about the food industry for the first time, I couldn’t physically bring myself to eat. That was the first time I had ever really thought about what I was eating, and it changed the whole way that I thought about food.

Caroline have you read the book, The Omnivores Dilemma? I think you might be interested in that one. It’s an easy read, but you might want to never eat again after learning some of the mortifying things that book shares.

I’ll have to check that out! I’m the worst after watching movies or reading books about food!
Omg I was seriously searching Pinterest last night for healthy, easy meals then I come across this post today from a link up! This is perfect and exactly what I needed, thank you so much for posting!
That’s so cool! I haven’t come across my pins on Pinterest yet, so I’m so glad that someone has!
Thanks for linking up at 100-Happy-Days. These look delicious! I go in and out of a Paleo lifestyle… mostly depending on my energy level. Which is not the way to do it. When I have no energy I should definitely change my eating habits— but of course- I just go for convenience at that point.
Oh my goodness, I hear you, Kate! It’s just so much easier to throw potatoes and rice in a dish to make it last longer. You can’t do that with Paleo. Which is still something I’m getting used to from a diet AND a cost aspect!
