25 Incredible Pumpkin Decorating Ideas
Pumpkins can be used for so much more than lattes and pies! They’re incredibly beautiful in their uniqueness and the ways that can turn a porch from blah to beautiful.
Carving pumpkins used to be a Halloween tradition in my family. But when we carved pumpkins they would up looking a lot like this:

Pumpkin Carving
Not that there’s anything wrong with that pumpkin! Look how cute he is!
But long gone are the days when pumpkins like that are acceptable. We live in the age of Pinterest! The world of the internet and all of its step-by-step tutorials are at our fingertips!
The bar has been raised and the ante has been upped. Pumpkin carving is now a work of art. Each pumpkin is its own masterpiece; like sculpting marble with the inner art waiting to be set free by the sculptor.
Some where, my high school art teacher is smiling.
So, with that in mind, here are some of the truly EPIC pumpkin masterpieces that Pinterest has to offer.

1. Lace Stocking Pumpkin

This shabby chic-inspired pumpkin pattern is absolutely charming!

All you have to do is drape your pumpkin with an old lace stocking. And there you have it, a simple and attractive design for Halloween.

2. Open Top Pumpkin

Source: Home BNC

Don’t have to worry about resting the top of your pumpkin with this unique contemporary style!

The result will leave you captivated, even if it takes a bit more work. This style would look excellent with either floral or geometric patterns.

3. Bling Pumpkin

What a classy touch to add for a dull pumpkin!

The best part of this project is that it only requires a paint and some bling, which takes around 5 minutes to create.

4. DIY Donut Pumpkins

Please admit that this donut pumpkin is super duper cute, right?

Grab your acrylic paint and use your artistic abilities. And once you are done, don’t try to eat this one (only kidding).

5. Pumpkin Abra

Take a look at this fantastic pumpkin abra created using pumpkin stencils!

You might play around with various designs using some templates.

6. Starbucks Pumpkin

This pumpkin carving idea is perfect for Starbucks coffee lovers (like me)!

The templates may be downloaded from the link above so you can get started. You may also start your day with a cup of Starbucks coffee to get those creative juices flowing!

7. Halloween Pumpkin with Autumn Leaves

It might appear difficult, but this fall leaves design is actually simple!

The first step is to outline the leaves, then complete the details of the leaves with free hand. Simply be cautious when carving it since we want the leaf intricacy to be as accurate as possible.

8. Cheese-and-Mice Pumpkin

This lovely, cheesy pumpkin design will make your home overrun by (toy) mouse!

Make a few distinct hole sizes and paint it with a light yellow paint for the cheese structure. Use a plastic mouse for a more realistic look.

9. Spooky Halloween Terrarium

Create a spooky miniature-like terrarium with this pumpkin!

This comes with a spooky house with crazy/violent bats. It’s ideal for your next Halloween party!

10. Mini Pumpkin Unicorn

If you’re searching for a no-carve pumpkin project for the kids, this is a fun one to try!

This is a simple and easy-to-do project that will make your children to adore this little unicorn pumpkin.

11. Emoji Head Pumpkins

Pumpkins and emojis are similar. The best thing about pumpkins and emoji is… they’re both round!

Pick your favorite emoji and put the emoji pieces on top of your pumpkins. There are so many faces to choose from!

12. Witchy Woman

Source: Extreme Pumpkins

This witch will not follow you about, but this may be a fantastic frightening element to add to your front porch!

Carve the face, add the wig, and a witch hat. And boo! It’s time to scare some people away

13. Glitter Monogrammed Pumpkin

Decorate your white pumpkin with your initials or monogram, if you want to personalize it.

This decorating idea will add glitz to your front porch! You may check the full instructions on this page.

14. Home Address Pumpkin

Transform your pumpkin into a useful decoration that can also be carved with your home address!

This project needed the use of a hot knife, so exercise caution when executing it. Because it is constructed from foam pumpkins, you can use it for years without having to worry whether it deteriorates.

15. Text Pumpkins

Wow! I will have to show my husband as he typically carves pumpkins with my daughter. I will be putting in a request for the HGTV – Bouquet of Flowers one. Very cool.

It is amazing to me that someone spends so much time in designing these pumpkins, like making a sand sculpture on the beach only to have it washed away. These are beautiful each one so unique, my favorite is Celtic pumpkins and all a great addition to my Friday Features Linky Party this week.
I would love to have you stop by and add other posts, if you like…..
